Join us in our 8th Annual event as we “Spin” for Childhood Cancer at the Cloverdale Recreation Centre (6188 176th Street, Surrey) on October 18th, 2019 at 7pm.
You can join us by creating a team consisting of 4-6 individual “spinners”. Don’t worry- no one will be expected to do any ballet! Your team will be riding a stationary bike for one hour total (10 minutes each) at the event, and fundraising as a team AND as individuals leading up to the event by collecting pledges on and offline to help families who have children battling Cancer or a Blood Disorder.
The event always gets a little loud and crazy, in the best way, as teams cheer each other on to push harder and faster in the “spin”. Teams participate for a number of prizes that include highest mileage, but for those who have done a little less training leading up to the event, there are chances to win for best team spirit, best costume (not a necessity- but always a favourite part of the event), and also for highest team and individual fundraisers!
