VIRTUAL COMMUNITY AUCTION FUNDRAISER
FRIDAY Nov 6th to SUNDAY Nov 15th, 2020
Childhood cancer knows no social or economic boundaries and can be financially devastating for many families. CCFS is unique in that it provides timely day to day expenses in cases where need is imminent. For the past 18 years we have engaged in fundraising activities to raise money. Unfortunately, due to COVID-19 we have been unable to hold our usual in person fundraising activities and instead are hosting a virtual online auction.
We are reaching out to people in our community for a donation of items or services for the auction. It will take place over a period of ten days beginning Friday, November 6th and ending Sunday November 15th. We anticipate that donors will receive more exposure than our annual attended auction as hundreds of individuals in the community will be actively watching the auction site and following the bidding. It will also be an opportunity for the winning bidders to engage with local businesses who have been affected by Covid-19.
