After meeting Mr. Daljeet Singh Sidhu at the Balding for Dollars event at BC Children’s Hospital where he shared the story of his own son in recent treatment, I (Dave Dunbar) was invited to apply for a donation for CCFSupport from the Khalsa Credit Union. They truly have an amazing, philanthropic heart as 10% of their annual profits goes out to various charities and organizations. Last year they gave out over $ 400,000.00! They recognized the value in CCFSupport’s mission to provide financial aid to families of a child with cancer that is struggling financially from anywhere in BC.
We are the proud recipients of a $ 5000.00 donation from the Khalsa Credit Union in June of 2019!
We were also excited to hear the Khalsa Credit Union board members mention that they will be signing up a team for our Annual “SPIN” for Childhood Cancer – coming up in October of 2019!
