The Childhood Cancer Family Support (CCFS) hosted the annual Inside Ride CCFS Fundraiser last October 2018 at the Cloverdale Recreation Centre.
An amazing time was had by all as teams of 4-6 riders raised the roof with loud music, high energy, peddling legs, encouraging cheerleaders, and most importantly funds raised for CCFSupport programs, which go to oncology families in BC in need.
The facility since our 1st annual Inside Ride is none other than the incredible Cloverdale Rec Centre on 176th Street in Surrey. Events coordinator Sue Tomio and the Staff helped to co-host and support our organizations’ fundraising efforts and helped to keep the “fun” running smoothly.
Each team raised money through on-line and off-line pledging. After they registered, teams & individual members received access to their own personal fundraising webpage, along with pledge sheets – making the fundraising easy, fun, and contributed to the events huge success.
Medals were presented to the team with the best team spirit, the best team costume, highest mileage team, and the top fundraising team along with the top individual and top volunteer fundraiser. 2018 was our 6th year and a fantastic, fun-filled time was had by all, Over 20 teams helped to raise over $ 35,000.00!
